| CAMBRIDGE |
| Elm: 2 miles SE of Wisbeach, with Norfolk's Emneth parish to the NE. No Elm trees are grown there. It is a peculiar of the Bishop of Ely. "Eolum" in the 10th century. 1831 pop. 1,410. |

| Wisbeach: (or Wisbech.) The second largest city in Cambridge, comprised of two parishes, St. Mary to the west and St. Peter on the east and south. Once only 4 miles from the sea, now 11. | Deptford: 4 miles E of London and south of the Thames river, the city actually comprises several parishes in Kent and Surrey. St. Paul's is the oldest, with registers available from 1563. | Folkestone: 37 & 1/4 miles SE of Maidstone and on the southeast coast of Kent. A small town for centuries (pop. circa 700), the city has grown in recent times. "Folcanstan" circa 697. Elham RD until 1930, now Shepway. 1831 pop. 4,296. |
