When and where was she born? I have an 1881 census entry that tells me she's 26 and her birth place looks like Kennington, London. The age agrees with her marriage certificate info. But no civil registration of birth has been found around 1855 for her. |

Where is he and his family after 1845? After their daughter is born in late 1844 and christened in Deptford in January 1845, the family has moved. Was he in the Royal Navy? Where could they be? |

Where is she in 1881? She had left John DYE up in Cambridge and is now with William S. DYER in Deptford, Kent in both 1871 and 1891, but I can't find them in 1881. |
