Family of Guy Ray HOLMES

GUY RAY HOLMES (DANIEL) was born about 1877 in Clark, Wisconsin, and died after 1903. Family tradition has it that he (and his brother Ralph) changed the spelling of their last name to HOMES over a religious dispute with others in the family.

He married SARAH ELIZABETH (SADIE) MCPHERSON on 17 Sep 1894 in Greenwood, Clark, Wisconsin, daughter of WILLIAM MCPHERSON and EMELINE MILES. She was born on 13 Aug 1880 in Clark, Wisconsin, and died after 1900.

Children of GUY HOLMES and SARAH MCPHERSON are:
  1. ROSETTA HOMES, b. after 1894.

  2. LENNIE HOMES, b. after 1897.

  3. AFTON GUY HOMES, b. 5 Feb 1900.
