Family of Ralph L. HOLMES

RALPH L. HOLMES (DANIEL) was born about 1875 in Wisconsin, and died after 1906. Family tradition has it that he (and his brother Guy) changed the spelling of their last name to HOMES over a religious dispute with others in the family.

He married MARY HELEN MCPHERSON on 26 Jun 1895, probably in Wisconsin, daughter of WILLIAM MCPHERSON and EMELINE MILES. She was born on 3 March 1873 in Clark, Wisconsin, and died after 1906.

  4. NONA HOMES.

  5. ALBERT MCPHERSON HOMES, b. 28 Jul 1896.

  6. IRWIN GUY HOMES, b. 18 Jan 1899 in Wisconsin; died in July 1975 in Coconino, Arizona.

  7. WILFRED CHARLES HOMES, b. 20 Nov 1906, Nebraska.
