Family of Henry Josiah MILES

HENRY JOSIAH MILES (THOMAS BRUNKER, SAMUEL, THOMAS MIGHELS) was born on 4 Sep 1843 in Erie, Pennsylvania, and died on 19 Apr 1890 in Springdale, Dane, Wisconsin.

He married ELLEN H. MORRISON in 1874 in Wisconsin. She was born about 1852 in SCOTLAND, and died after 1895.

In 1846, Henry's parents moved from Pennsylvania and settled in Springdale, Dane county, Wisconsin. Henry became a farmer. He served at the end of the Civil War, from Feb. 1865 until Sept. 1865 as a Private in Company H of the 47th Wisconsin Infantry.

  1. THOMAS H. MILES, b. 15 Oct 1875, Springdale, Dane, Wisconsin; d. Aft. 1896.

  2. MARIAN E. MILES, b. 20 Apr 1878, Dane, Wisconsin; d. after 1891.

  3. CLARA M. MILES, b. about 1882, Dane, Wisconsin; d. after 1891.

  4. STANLEY M. MILES, b. about 1887, Dane, Wisconsin.
