Family of Robert BAKER

ROBERT BAKER was born in 1843 in Allington, Lincoln, ENGLAND, and died on 5 Mar 1890 in Mortlake, Victoria, AUSTRALIA, where he was buried in the local cemetery. He was a gardener while living in England and in 1889 moved his family to Mortlake, Victoria, AUSTRALIA.

He married ALICE AUCKLAND on 28 Sep 1874 in Sedgebrook, Lincoln, ENGLAND, daughter of HENRY AUCKLAND and HANNAH BROMLEY. She was born on 20 Sep 1850 and baptised on 17 Oct 1852 in Sedgebrook, Lincoln, ENGLAND. Alice remarried, at age 46, to William Thomas HEARD, a widower aged 55 years, in St. James Church of England, Mortlake, on 13 Feb 1894. She died on 21 Nov 1908 in Victoria, AUSTRALIA.

  1. JOHN H. BAKER, b. 1875 in Allington, Lincoln, ENGLAND; d. after 1881.

  2. HANNAH B. BAKER, b. 1877 in Allington, Lincoln, ENGLAND; d. after 1881.

  3. ARTHUR BAKER, b. 1880 in Allington, Lincoln, ENGLAND; d. after 1881.
