He married JANE APPLETON on 30 Jun 1849 in Nonington, Kent, ENGLAND, daughter of JOHN APPLETON and ESTER WHITE. She was born on 13 June 1830 and baptised on 8 Aug 1830 in Nonington, Kent, ENGLAND, and she died after 1881.

  1. CHARLES CHIDWICK, b. 1851, Alkham, Kent, ENGLAND; d. after 1861.

  2. GEORGE CHIDWICK, b. 1853, Alkham, Kent, ENGLAND; d. after 1881. George married Charolette around 1876 and had at least four daughters.

  3. HENRY WILLIAM CHIDWICK, b. 1855, Alkham, Kent, ENGLAND; d. after 1881. Henry married Emma about 1878 and had at least two children.

  4. JOHN CHIDWICK, b. 1857, Alkham, Kent, ENGLAND; d. after 1861.

  5. ELIZABETH ESTHER CHIDWICK, b. 1859, Alkham, Kent, ENGLAND; d. after 1861.
