He married HARRIET ? about 1866 in Kent?, ENGLAND. She was born in 1844 in Seasalter, Kent, ENGLAND and died after 1891.

  4. EMMA ELIZABETH APPLETON, b. 1876, Whitstable, Kent, ENGLAND; d. after 1891.

  5. ALICE LOUISE APPLETON, b. 1879, Whitstable, Kent, ENGLAND; d. after 1891.
