  4. GEORGE WALES, b. May 1836, Margate, Kent, ENGLAND and bapt. on 29 May 1836, St. John, Thanet, Kent, ENGLAND; died between 1881 and 1892. He married SARAH JANE SPRATLING on 4 Dec 1856 in St John the Baptist, Thanet, Kent, ENGLAND. In the 1881 census, he is a cab driver in Margate.

  5. ELIZA A. WALES, b. 1838, Margate, Kent, ENGLAND; d. after 1851.

  6. EMMA A. WALES, b. Mar 1840, Margate, Kent, ENGLAND and bapt. on 5 Apr 1840, St. John, Thanet, Kent, ENGLAND; d. after 1851.

  7. HANNAH WALES, b. Jan 1842, Margate, Kent, ENGLAND and bapt. on 30 Jan 1842, St. John, Thanet, Kent, ENGLAND; d. after 1851. In the 1851 census, her name is listed as "Harriet".

  8. STEPHEN WALES, b. 1843, Margate, Kent, ENGLAND and bapt. on 11 Feb 1844, St. John, Thanet, Kent, ENGLAND; d. after 1851.

  9. MARY A. WALES, b. about 1845, Margate, Kent, ENGLAND; d. after 1851.

  10. JOSEPH WALES, b. about 1847, Margate, Kent, ENGLAND; d. after 1891. He married about 1875 to Eliza ? from Wothing, Sussex. In 1891 he is a builder and sanitary engineer living in Margate.

John Foster WALES married a second time to Elizabeth ?, about 1860, probably in the Margate area.
