Family of Alfred John FRISBY

ALFRED JOHN FRISBY (AMOS, AMOS, WILLIAM, THOMAS) was born on 16 Nov 1867 in Sedgebrook, Lincoln, ENGLAND, and died after 1921. As a boy, he grew up in Witham on the Hill in Lincolnshire, where he was baptised on 3 Mar 1872. As an adult, he lived in Spitalgate, south of Grantham, where he worked as an engine fitter. Later he served in the 2nd Lincolnshire Regiment. In his senior years he was an omnibus driver in Cheriton, Kent.

He married ELIZA APPLETON on 16 Apr 1891 in Elham, Kent, ENGLAND, daughter of DANIEL APPLETON and ELIZA DANIELS. She was born on 11 May 1872 in Nonington, Kent, ENGLAND, and baptised there on 30 Jun 1872. She died after 1921.

  3. ALFRED FRISBY, b. about 1900, Kent?, ENGLAND. A private in the Queen's Own Royal West Kent Regiment, he died on Monday, 19 July 1920 in TURKEY and was initially buried in Baumgarten Cemetery, Vienna.

  4. OLIVE ROSA MAUD FRISBY, b. about 1902, bap. 1902, Cheriton, Folkestone, Kent, ENGLAND; d. unknown.

  5. TED FRISBY, b. about 1902, Kent?, ENGLAND; d. 1916, FRANCE.

  6. DOROTHY FRISBY, b. about 1903; d. 1975, Kent, ENGLAND.
