He married ANN ? before 1856 in Kent?, ENGLAND. She was born in 1831 in Whitfield, Kent, ENGLAND, and died early in 1906 in Northwood, Thanet, and was buried on 6 Jan 1906 at St. Peter, Thanet, Kent, ENGLAND, at age 76.

  3. HANNAH FRANCES APPLETON, b. 1862 and baptised on 12 Apr 1863, St. Peter, Thanet, Kent, ENGLAND; d. after 1891.

  4. ADA CONSTANCE APPLETON, b. 1865 and baptised on 9 Jul 1865, St. Peter, Thanet, Kent, ENGLAND; d. after 1891.
