JOHN HAROLD DYER (JOHN GRACEWELL, WILLIAM SUTTERBY) was born on 18 March 1896 and baptised on 5 April 1896 at St. Mark's, in Deptford, Kent, ENGLAND, and died on 10 Feb 1981 in Leicester, ENGLAND. In 1923 he is listed as a Variety Artiste on his son's birth certificate, living in Leicester. He changed his name from DYER to DWYER to match his father's stage name.

He married ELSIE NOAKES on 23 Jul 1921 in ENGLAND. She was born on 30 Sep 1901, and died on 7 Nov 1979 n Leicester, ENGLAND.

  1. JOHN TERENCE DWYER, b. (living), ENGLAND.

  2. BRIAN ROBERT DWYER, b. 21 Nov 1923, Leicester, Leicester, ENGLAND; d. 2 Sep 1944, Mertert, LUXEMBOURG. Flight Officer and navigator on a mosquito bomber shot down over Luxembourg on 2 Sep 1944. Service No. 154846, R.A.F. (V.R.) 107 Sqdn. Buried with Flt. Lieut. David D. Hall, the pilot, in a joint grave. Mertert lies 20 miles ENE of the capitol of Luxembourg.

  3. BARRY DWYER, b. (living), Bromley, Kent, ENGLAND. He currently lives in Adelaide, Australia.
