He married SARAH ? about 1825. She was born in 1798 in ENGLAND, and died after 1881.

  1. WILLIAM MIDDLETON, b. 1824, Woolwich, Kent, ENGLAND; d. after 1881; mar. REBECCA ?, 1853, Kent, ENGLAND.

  2. JAMES MIDDLETON, b. 1828, Kent, ENGLAND; d. after 1841.

  3. SAMUEL ROBERT MIDDLETON, b. 11 Nov 1832 and bapt. 21 Dec 1832, St. Mary Magdalene, Woolwich, Kent, ENGLAND; d. after 1841.

  4. ROBERT JOHN MIDDLETON, b. 10 April 1837 and bapt. 5 May 1837, St. Mary Magdalene, Woolwich, Kent, ENGLAND; d. after 1881; mar. CAROLINE MATILDA HARWOOD, about 1865, Kent?, ENGLAND.

  5. There is a possibility that another son, FRANCIS BENJAMIN MIDDLETON, was born to them in late 1829 in Woolwich, but this has not been confirmed.
