Family History
Dillon Preston Myers was born on Oct 11, 1819, the son of Abraham Dillon Myers and Martha Preston Gillingham. He married Martha and they had the three daughters listed below. Dillon appears in the 1880 census for Knights Valley. Living with him are daughters Emily and Grace and a granddaughter Francis. He next appears as a railroad man at 28 O'farrell in the 1889 San Francisco Directory. The following year he appears in the 1890 census for Sonoma County.
1. Delia Myers b. Jan 22, 1849 d. May 8, 1890 Windsor married Robert Hill b. Dec 4, 1836 d. Dec 5, 1908 Santa Rosa, on Sep 4, 1865 in Santa Rosa. Robert is the son of William Hill and Eliza Jane Switzer. Robert and Delia had six children: Harry Dillon, John Gillingham, William James, Charles Nelson, Ida May and Lee Preston.
2. Emily Myers b. 1859 d. died Mar 22, 1883, married Phillip Kise after his first wife Katie died in 1880. This Phillip Kise may be the one who at age 17 appears with his parents in the 1870 Census for Russian River, Sonoma County.
3. Grace M. Myers b. 1864 d. died Oct 31, 1882
