The family of Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Bobo held a family reunion on Wednesday, August 8. Attending were their children: Mr. and Mrs. John Tollett and children, Glenn, Bob, and Marilyn of Salem, Ore.; Mr. and Mrs. John Taylor and children, Harold, Larry, Debbie and Linda, of Oklahoma City; Mrs. Ruby Coates, San Francisco,Ca.; and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Caudle, Broken Bow.

The six children of Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Bobo
of 1105 Silvey Drive, Broken Bow, were visiting here June 9, during a
family reunion at the Bobo home.

Mr. and Mrs. Peppers, Mr. & Mrs. Lawrence Thomas, Mrs. Scaggs and Mrs. Simmons visited friends in Holly Creek Sunday.
Mr. & Mrs. Elmer Peppers are planning on moving to Wright City.
George Scaggs and mother, Mrs. E. Scaggs, left Tuesday morning on their way to Glenwood, Arkansas.
Mrs. Orbie Scaggs and children were dinner guests of Mrs. Eva Thomas Sunday.
Prayer meeting was a success Wednesday night. It was conducted by Mr. Scaggs.
Mr. E. Scaggs was laid to rest in the Pollard Cemetery last Wednesday. Mr. Scaggs was a member of the Baptist Church. We will miss him in church and prayer meeting. Our sympathy extends to his wife and children. He left to mourn for him his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Peppers of Wright City; Mrs. Dora Moye of Whitesboro,Okla.; Mrs. Eva Thomas and Mrs. Simmons of Marshall Hill, and three sons, Herment, Guy and George Scaggs all of Marshall Hill, also many friends and relatives. Elmer Thomas of Hope,Arkansas, attended the funeral of Mr. Scaggs. Mrs. Peppers and Mrs. Moye returned home Saturday from attending the funeral of their father, Mr. Scaggs. George Scaggs was carried to the Hospital at Muskogee Monday morning to be operated on for appendicitis. He was accompanied to the Hospital by Herment Scaggs and Alexander Thomas. We hope for him a speedy recovery.
George Scaggs returned home Tuesday from the hospital at Muskogee, where he underwent an operation for appendicitis. We are glad to see him improving. Mrs. Iva Scaggs had a stroke of paralysis Tuesday morning. We hope she is better by this writing.
