THE ROULETTE OVAL CIGARETTE
1922---2004
James Duke's American Tobacco Company trust was dissolved in 1911. This break-up consolidated seven snuff manufacturers into the Weyman-Bruton Company. Weyman-Bruton purchased the United States Tobacco Company of Virginia in 1921, and the following year Weyman-Bruton changed its name to the United States Tobacco Company, a New Jersey corporation. US Tobacco manufactured many low volume cigarette brands, including the stylish Roulette Cigarette pictured below. This box of Roulette contains ten Class B cigarettes, and was made in 1930.
