"WITH MEN WHO NO TOBACCO MOST"
ca. 1945

No ifs -- No ashes -- No butts. Don McNeill's No Cigarettes didn't have any taste either. No taste? Yep, that's because the No Cigarette pack had no cigarettes in it. Packages of the bogus No were given to the Chicago audience attending the broadcast of Mr. McNeill's popular Breakfast Club radio talk show. Fans living in the San Francisco Bay Area could hear McNeill on KGO, 810 on the AM dial: the only dial there was during those early broadcasting years. KGO advertised McNeill's show by giving out packs of his No Cigarettes which stated on the fake closure seal just when and where the Breakfast Club could be heard.
