CELEBRATING SUMMER AT THE BEACH
2001

If common sense hadn't prevailed, and the Camel pin-up packs pictured below had been marketed, it would have been hard to argue that cigarette manufacturers weren't deliberately targeting teenaged boys, beach bums, rednecks, male chauvinist pigs, young Christian gentlemen, businessmen, blue-collar construction workers, plus grandfathers and all other graybeards. Revealing, you bet, but the Camel Summer packs are only prototype mockups. Made in the USA for possible export to South America, the eight limited edition collector's packs picture beautiful models wearing striking string bikinis. A tattoo of Old Joe can be seen in the most interesting places.
