The graphic artist who created the colorful Cairo No. 27A label pictured below, managed to include almost every conceivable symbol an American might associate with exotic far away Egypt. Manufactured by the Monopol Tobacco Works in New York City, Cairo No. 27A was one of twenty-nine brands produced by this small subsidiary of giant American Tobacco Company.
