The Helmar cigarette kiosk beckened to Cleveland's Luna Park smokers about 1914. Helmar advertised at many of the theme parks before the beginning of the First World War. Elaborate outdoor Helmar ads in the form of billboards could be seen in many US cities, above the boardwalk in Atlantic City, and atop commercial buildings along many of America's main streets.
