Chair positions will be held at the monthly Intergroup meeting in

Term
length for all jobs is one year. Officers can be elected for two
consecutive terms. |

| Chairperson: |
|
Presides
over monthly Intergroup and Steering Committee meetings. Maintains
direct communication regularly with other Intergroup officers and
committee chairpersons. Must have general knowledge of A.A. Service
Manual & Robert's Rules of Order (for conducting Intergroup
Business Meeting).

Length
of continuous sobriety - 4 years
Average monthly commitment: 8-12 hrs |

|
Assists Chairperson
in his or her duties; attends all meetings. Attends all committee
meetings. Conducts orientation meetings for new S.C.I.F. members which
are held prior to regular S.C.I.F. meeting.

Treasurer:
|
|
Pays
S.C.I.F.-related bills. Collects and records contributions from groups
and prepares monthly financial statements for inclusion in the
Newsletter. Accounting computer background and access to computer are
helpful.

Average monthly commitment - 15+ hrs.

Recording Secretary:
|
|
Attends regular S.C.I.F. meetings and takes
minutes. Delivers correct copy of minutes to Newsletter Editor. Attends
Steering Committee meetings.

Registrar:
|
|
Maintains a list of
groups and meetings available within the County. Keeps track on a
monthly basis of which groups have representatives and how often reps
attend meetings. Works with Outreach Committee to contact those groups
that are not active in SCIF meetings.

commitment: 10-12 hrs. |

| Seminars
Coordinator: |
|
|
Determines and plans quarterly seminars on topics of
interest to the Fellowship. Arranges for speakers and/or panels;
contacts participants; sets up time and room for the seminars; gets
information into Newsletter; encourages participation; attends monthly
S.C.I.F. and Steering Committee meetings.

Teleservice Chairperson: |
|
| Oversees day-to-day
operations of Teleservice. Conducts monthly Teleservice business
meetings. |

Coordinator/Newsletter Editor: |

|
Coordinates efforts needed to produce Directories,
Newsletter, & WebSite; gets meeting updates from Directory
Coordinator for inclusion in monthly Newsletter. Arranges for printing
and distribution of schedules & Newsletter. Coordinates Newsletter
mailing to paid subscribers. Attends Steering Committee meetings,
S.C.I.F. meetings, special events, and workshops when possible. Is
aware of information that needs to be presented to membership in
written form, especially SCIF business & events.

| Activities
Coordinator: |
|
|
Coordinates monthly
dances, Summer picnics, and other activities and functions within
Intergroup. Basically, puts the functions together. Must be able to
delegate responsibility.

| Outreach: |
|
|
|
Checks attendance for registered groups. Checks with
groups to encourage them to send reps to Intergroup. Volunteers to
attend meetings are a necessary part of this committee, whose main
emphasis is to encourage groups in Sonoma County to be active in the
A.A. community and Intergroup.
