Precinct 1: The lands of James Blackwell, Sr., John Mask, James Blackwell, Jr., Reese Hughes, John Ussery, Josias Simmons, Robert Harmon, Richard Ussery, Thomas Francis, John Glenn, Charles Wilford, George Merideth and Samuel Merideth, lying and adjacent to each other being made one precinct which the said James Blackwell, Sr. and John Mask were required by an order of vestry to see processioned and make return according to law. These may certificate that we the subscribers have according to an order of vestry dated ye 24th of September, Anno Domini 1708, for processioning of lands, have in obedience to that order, fulfilled it, and have peaceably and quietly processioned each man's land in our precinct the last day of November...and for Robert Harmon, by his order, John Mask, Jr., John Blackwell, these we testified to have seen done as witnesss our hands. The lands of John Mask, Robert Harman, Thomas Frances, John Stroud, Charles Willsford, Capt. Nataniel West, Col. Russell, John Gunton, John Peece, Samuel Waddy, John Anderson and the Church Land being made one precinct. There is a note in the next precinct which describes the process: "Beginning at a corner tree standing upon the river bank dividing betwixt John Mask and James Blackwell, Jr., John Mask being in our company so far as his land joined our precinct, and also the said Mask at the request of Charles Willsford, was with us as far as the said Willfords land joined upon our precinct..."1715 Processioning Records, St. Paul's Parish Vestry Book
The lands of John Mask, Charles Willsford, Thomas Francis, John Strowd, Capt. West, Col. Basset, John Gunton, Samuel Waddey, John Anderson, Widdow Peace, the Glebe (i.e. the Church land) and Josias Simmonds, being one precinct. In obedience to the within order we met to Procession: John Stroud, Thomas Francis, John Gunton, Henry Crisp, Jonas Reynolds, Gabriel Heath, Thomas Maske and Joseph Peace, and we processioned the within lands, but Capt. West being sick and did not come, nor send any in his room, he would not have his land returned processioned. The report was made by John Mask. In the next precinct the processioning began at the tree on the river bank dividing between John Mask and James Blackwell, Jr. Precinct 5: James Blackwell, George Turner, James Blackwell, Jr., Robert Blackwell, Thomas Langford, Rees Hughs, William Pulliam, John Ussery, John Turner, Benjamin Goodman, John Howard, Mr. Booth, George Jones. John Dickerson was appointed overseer of the said road and all the hands between Fishing Creek and Tabbs Creek the old trading road from the present court house to Harrisburg from thence to the mouth of Fishing Creek & from thence to the mouth of Tabbs Creek were ordered to open and maintain the same to Tar River. Summons all the jury this side Tar River & Nathen McGehee which will be enough to do the road. Jul 2-8, 1764, Pursuat to the annexed order to us directed, we the subscribers have layed of the road with liberty to the overseer on the north side of Tar river to straighten the road on that side as we this day agreed the same should be done and we also libertise the overseer on the south side of the said river to straighten the bents of the ridge path and to fall into Bradford's road at or near a flat rock on the roads about half a mile above the county line.

Abner Peace, Grantor, B. Y. Rogers, C. J. Rogers and Others. This Indenture made and indented this the 3rd day of January 1861, between Abner Peace of the County of Wake and State of North Carolina of the one part, and B. Y. Rogers and C. J. Rogers and others of the other part. Witnesseth that whereas the said Abner Peace _____ justly indebted to the following persons to wit. One note to Calvin J. Rogers for $50 with interest thereon, one note to Peleg Rogers for $5 with interest from 27th July 1860, one note to B. Y. Rogers for $57.62 with interest from date, one note to B. Y. Rogers for $144.23 with interest from date. One note to George W. Thompson for $75 with interest thereon. One note to Edward Cooley for $200 with John Peace security with interest thereon. One note to James Ferrell and John Peace security for $50 with interest thereon. One note to John Peace for $300 with interest thereon. I the said Abner Peace for the further consideration of the sum of one dollar to me in hand by the above parties before the assigning and sealing and delivery the same have this day bargained sold and delivered unto them the aforesaid parties the following property to wit. All my interest in the tract of land whereon I now live, four head of horses, two waggons, two yoke of oxen, two buggies, eight head of cattle, twenty head of hogs, all my crop of corn, wheat, tobacco, fodder, oats, shucks and all my household and kitchen furniture which property I the said Abner Peace bind myself my heirs admns. Executors and assigns to warrant and defined the right and title to them the aforesaid parties, their heirs and assigns forever against all manner of claims whatsoever and on or before the 1st of December next, the said parties __ as liberty to dispose of all of said property by giving ten days notice thereof, by John Peace and B. Y. Rogers as trustees and payoff all the debts interested and cost connected with the same okey the balance if any to the said Abner Peace. In witnesseth whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this the day and date above written.
